Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate: surfactant known as "baby foam" because it is so mild; derived from coconut; a soap-free cleansing agent

Coco Glucoside: gentle surfactant to make that lovely foam and gently cleanse

Cocoa butter: rich in anti-oxidants, lovely in scent; a protecting emollient for all skin types

Cetyl Alcohol: not to be confused with drying alcohols, cetyl alcohol is derived from a fat such as vegetable oil or coconut oil; it stabilizes and thickens formulas; hydrating, conditioning, and softening to the skin

Distearoylethyl Dimonium Chloride or Brassica Alcohol & Brassicyl Valinate Esylate: a vegetable derived, readily biodegradable conditioner and thickener; a completely biodegradable compound; approved by the COSMOS standard of natural and organic cosmetics

Cetearyl Alcohol: not to be confused with drying alcohols, cetearyl alcohol is a mixture of cetyl and stearyl alcohol, two emollient fatty alcohols

Gluconolactone & sodium benzoate: COSMOS and Ecocert accepted, a natural broad spectrum preservative; combines two organic acids that work together to provide long-lasting, effective protection from the growth of bacteria and fungi

Citric acid: antioxidant, AHA (alpha-hydroxy acid), promotes exfoliation and new skin growth, helps lighten and brighten skin, adjusts pH to skin-friendly range

Get bar and hands wet, and then rub in between hands, or on your favorite sponge, until you reach a good, silky lather. Wash, shave, and use as you would other cleansers. Feel good knowing that you're supporting your skin's microbiome. Rinse clean.

For best shelf life, make sure your bar dries after use. Do not let the bar sit in water.

Essential oils are diluted to a total of 1% in this product, and are safe for children of all ages since this is a rinse-off product. These essential oils are generally regarded as safe, with no contraindications, but consult your doctor if you have any concerns.

This product does contain an ECOCERT and COSMOS approved preservative for natural and organic products, since cleansing bars are used with water.
